ch – chain

sc – single crochet

dc - double crochet

SIZES: Teen/Adult

GAUGE:  2 sts & 2 rows = 1” in single crochet

Start with Magic Ring,

Rnd 1: ch 2, 10 dc in ring, sl st in ch-2 (total: 10 sts)

Rnd 2: ch 2, 2 dc in each st around, sl st in ch-2 (total: 20 sts)

Rnd 3: ch 2, *1 dc in next st, 2 dc in next st*, repeat from* to* 10 times, sl st in ch-2 (total: 30 sts)

Rnd 4: ch 2, *1 dc in next 2 sts, 2 dc in next st*, repeat from* to* 10 times, sl st in ch-2 (total: 40 sts)

Rnd 5 - Rnd 8: ch 2, 1 dc in each st around, sl st in ch-2 (total: 40 sts)

Rnd 9: ch 1, *1 sc in next 4 sts, 2 sc in next st*, repeat from* to* 8 times, sl st in ch-1 (total: 48 sts)

**Ribbed Half Double Crochet Stitch** is unique because it isn't work as usual only in front or back loop. The stitch is crochet in third loop of hdc which is on back behind the basic stitch. To achieve this texture you need to work only in round. 

Abbreviation:

st - stitch

sl st - slip stitch

ch - chain

Rnd - round

hdc - half double crochet

Start with chain foundation (as much as you need),

Rnd 1: ch 2, 1 hdc in each st around, sl st in ch-2 Rnd 2: ch 2, 1 hdc in 3rd back loop in each st around, sl st in ch-2 Rnd 3- Rnd….: repeat Rnd 3
