Crochet Infinity Scarf Cowl Free Pattern

Winter is here and we need warm scarfs or cowls. This infinity scarf is made from fancy yarn and it is suitable for ladies,teens and girls. It is with lace texture and elegant look.Very easy and quick project - perfect gift!

MATERIALS:
Yarn: Lace, 2 ply ( 65% mohair, 25% acrylic, 10% viscose)
Hook size: 8 mm (US- L)

ABBREVIATION ( US Terms):
ch - chain
sc - single crochet
hdc - half double crochet
dc - double crochet
sl st - slip stitch
st - stitch
sk - skip
Rnd - round

Yardage: 337 - 339 yards (308-310 m)
Gauge: 3 stitches = 1 inch in dc
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:
Length: 182 cm (71.7" )
Width: 21 cm (8.3")


Start with 26 ch foundation,
Rnd 1: 1 sc in each ch from a hook (total: 25 sts)
Rnd 2: ch 1, turn, 1 sc in same st, *sk 2 sts, 5 dc in next st, sk 2 sts, 1 sc in next st*, repeat from* to* 4 times (total: 25 sts)
Rnd 3: ch 5, turn, *1 sc in 3rd dc of row below, ch 2, sk 2 sts, 1 dc in next st, ch 2*, repeat from* to* 4 times (total: 8 sts)
Rnd 4: Repeat Rnd 2 but remember: last sc you have to make in ch-3 of row below
Rnd 5: Repeat Rnd 3
Repeat these two Rnds until you reach the right length for you. But NOTE: the last Rnd must be Rnd 2
To connect both sides together you can work sl st in each st or sew them with tapestry needle.
Wrap the scarf twice around your neck or around your shoulders and get fashion winter style!
